Here are the top 3 stories today in Oklahoma City:

  1. Galloping lines caused by the ongoing winter storms left more than 8,000 OG&E customers without power on Wednesday night. More than 6,000 homes across the metro area lost service due to a single, large outage, and crews are working to restore power as quickly as possible. As inclement weather continues, OG&E officials are reminding community members to stay away from downed power lines. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. Several school districts across the Oklahoma City metro area have altered their schedules this week to accommodate Wednesday's winter storm. The Edmond, El Reno, Moore, Mustang, Oklahoma City, Piedmont, and Tuttle districts have all declared snow days today, Feb. 4. Mustang and Oklahoma City Public Schools officials also announced that meal services will not be available during the closure. (news9.com KWTV)
  3. A unicorn was spotted shoveling snow in a Yukon neighborhood on Thursday. In a video captured by neighbors, an individual dressed in a unicorn costume can be seen clearing snow from a sidewalk in front of an Oklahoma City home.
