  1. The City Of Oklahoma City has postponed today's trash collection until Saturday, Feb. 5 due to the inclement weather. Solid Waste officials will continue to assess the situation as the storm develops and announce any additional changes to the schedule by the end of the day today. Trash collection is expected to resume as scheduled next Monday, Feb. 7. (Press Release Desk)
  2. Early voting for the City of Norman local elections begins today, Feb. 3, at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds. The voting is for all Feb. 8 municipal elections, including city council and mayoral posts. Pre-registration is not required, and early voting will continue through Friday. (Norman Transcript)
  3. The Oklahoma City Fire Department has shared winter safety tips for the ongoing storm. Officials advised all drivers to have a full gas tank and extra hats, gloves, and blankets on hand in the event their vehicle gets stuck. They also recommend keeping phones fully charged and avoiding using an extension cord when plugging in space heaters. (News On 6)
