Here are the top 3 stories in Oklahoma City today:
- Police are still searching for a suspect who shot and killed a man at an apartment complex on the southwest side of the city this weekend. The incident occurred on Friday evening at the Villas at Countryside apartments, where officers were called shortly before 8:00 p.m. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and later died from his injuries. - A Walmart employee was stabbed by a coworker during a confrontation on Sunday morning. Police say the incident occurred at the store's location on I-240 Service Road, where the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. As of Monday afternoon, no arrests had been made in the case. - Officials with the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department say the agency is ending its contract with Swadley’s Bar-B-Q restaurants. The announcement comes after several lawmakers and state officials expressed concerns about the cost of the contract, which included $13 million in payments to Swadley’s for renovations and operating costs. The agency has begun working with local businesses to help meet park guest demands until new restaurant operations can begin. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
