- Oklahoma City University’s 11th annual Women in Leadership conference, which has the theme “Lift,” will be held on Wednesday, Apr. 13. Participants are invited to explore what it takes to advance women to the next level in their careers and personal lives. This year’s conference will feature a professional mountain climber and leadership consultant, a coach and facilitator building high-performance teams, a dual Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology and clinical psychology, and more! - On Sunday, a Silver Alert was issued for George Kofa, who was last seen at 3 a.m. near Northeast 11th Street in Oklahoma City. Kofa is 77 years old and is 5 foot 11 and weighs 156 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a multi-colored striped shirt, and possibly a hat. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
- The Regional University System of Oklahoma’s six university presidents have announced a scholarship program for Ukrainians who have been severely impacted or displaced by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The scholarship program will cover tuition and room and board for undergraduate Ukrainian students who are seriously impacted and/or displaced by the Russian invasion as determined by each institution. If the student meets university admission standards, the scholarship will cover costs for undergraduate degrees and on-campus residences. (Muskogee Daily Phoenix)
