- A Tulsa man has been arrested after he was accused of stabbing another man and killing his dog. The victim told police he was walking his pit bull near 51st Street and Lewis Avenue when 61-year-old Freddie Hanson, who was also walking a pit bull, unleashed his dog on the victim and then stabbed him while he tried to separate the canines. Police discovered Hanson nearby, arrested him, and turned the suspect's dog over to animal control. (News On 6)
- A man who was paralyzed during a Black Lives Matter protest in Tulsa is suing the Tulsa Police Department, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and several other agencies. 34-year-old Thomas Knight incurred multiple broken bones in his spine after falling more than 20 feet off an overpass on Interstate 244 while participating in the 2020 protest. Knight is asking for a total of $75,000 in damages. (KOKI FOX 23)
- A second Dunkin' location plans to deliver more donuts and coffee to the Tulsa area. Local building permit records show that the popular chain restaurant plans to open a drive-through shop at 6701 S. Memorial Drive near the Woodland Hills Mall. The Dunkin' brand returned to the Tulsa area in 2017 after a decades-long hiatus. (Tulsa World)
