Here are the top 3 stories in Tulsa today:
- Two new members will join the Tulsa Public Schools' Board of Education following Tuesday's election. According to unofficial election returns, E’Lena Ashley and Susan Lamkin will join the board on the District 4 and District 7 seats, respectively. Incumbents in the rest of the Tulsa region were all elected to another term. (KTUL)
- Eleven students and a bus driver are okay after a car crashed into a Jenks Public Schools bus on Wednesday. Tulsa police say the bus was traveling on 71st Street when a driver in a Mustang crashed into the middle of the bus at a high rate of speed. Traffic was temporarily diverted to Louisville Avenue while first responders cleared the scene and another bus was dispatched to shuttle students. (News On 6)
- Tulsa World has rounded up the best egg hunts and other Easter activities in the area this year. In addition to several photo ops with the Easter Bunny across town, local organizations including American Legion Post No. 1, Animal Aid of Tulsa, and Reed Park will host family egg hunts.
