- Tulsa Parks and Recreation hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday for a new trail system at Bales Park. The $190,000 project will add 3.4 miles of walking trails to the community park and is expected to be completed by July. In the meantime, the baseball fields at Bales Park will still be open during the construction for anyone who wants to rent them out. (News On 6)
- Tulsa police say a burglar attempting to break into a dispensary near Pine Street and Peoria Avenue accidentally knocked a hole into the back of the wrong building. The suspect allegedly broke through the wall and cut the power, only to discover that they had instead broken into Block Builderz, a business that helps people in the criminal justice system. The office's owner, D'marria Monday, says nothing was stolen in the incident. (News On 6)
- McLain High School is looking for local businesses to speak to students during an upcoming career fair. Entrepreneurs and local business owners who volunteer will offer students advice on possible career paths and help encourage them to start planning their futures. The fifth annual Dare to Dream College and Career Fair will take place on Wednesday, March 9 and Friday, March 11.(news9.com KWTV)
