- A child has died after being hit by a vehicle while sledding on Thursday. Police say the 12-year-old was struck by a truck traveling west on Albany Street after accidentally sledding into the road. The truck did not stop, and police are currently working to identify the hit-and-run suspect. (News On 6)
- Country music star Joe Nichols is coming to Tulsa in April. The multiplatinum recording artist, known for hits such as "Brokenheartsville" and "Gimme That Girl," will perform at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on April 14. Tickets are on sale now for $24.50. (Cherokee Phoenix)
- Employees at the Oklahoma Aquarium reported to work this week despite the hazardous winter storm. Even though the aquarium was closed, staff members stayed at a nearby hotel in order to consistently feed and monitor the museum's fish. The aquarium has also installed backup generators to keep its aquatic residents safe in the event of a power outage. (News On 6)
