- The Tulsa Community is helping a street vendor open her own shop in Mother Road Market. Esther Wright, owner of Hilo de Amor: Thread of Love, said "I want everyone to see the marvelous things that ... Oaxaca has to offer." Hilo de Amor offers bags that are hand-made by a man or woman in prison in Oaxaca, Mexico. (news9.com KWTV)
- Forecasters are reporting a winter storm is expected to produce a "significant sleet accumulation" of up to an inch in the Tulsa metro area. Officials are warning residents of travel difficulties and power grid impacts. Most of eastern Oklahoma will be under a winter storm warning from 6 a.m. today until 6 p.m. Thursday. (Tulsa World)
- A Tulsa County program is providing assistance to people in Tulsa who may be struggling to afford prescriptions they need. Tulsa County and local medical providers repurpose unused and unexpired medication and distribute it to lower-income residents in Tulsa County. Since the Tulsa County Recycled Medication Program began, county leaders say more than $27 million in prescriptions have been filled. (News On 6)
