  1. A woman has been arrested after being accused of stealing a car with a teenage boy still inside. Police say they arrived at the scene around 4:00 a.m. Thursday morning to find the suspect, Koleasha Pruitt, walking away from a silver Nissan Altima that had been reported missing. Pruitt allegedly threatened the 13-year-old boy with a taser and was taken into custody shortly after. (News On 6)
  2. The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare (TAW) was forced to adjust its operating hours after identifying two cases of Canine Distemper Virus. TAW is not treating the cases as an outbreak at this time but is taking proactive measures, including isolating and testing dogs with potential symptoms of the virus. The center's adjusted hours will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. until the situation has been resolved. (KOKI FOX 23 TULSA)
  3. A Tulsa crossing guard petitioned the city council for a pay raise. Joanne Gilmore, who has been a crossing guard since 2003, currently serves at Clinton West Elementary and says the current crossing guard pay rate requires her to "juggle things" financially.
