Here are the top three stories in Tulsa today:

  1. A new Tulsa jazz club sold out its Valentine’s Day debut performance on Monday. LowDown, formerly known as “Duet Jazz Club,” is a speak-easy style bar with what they call a state-of-the-art listening room, located on the corner of Archer and Detroit. According to executive director Julio Badin, the underground club will feature other kinds of entertainment in addition to jazz-like stand-up comedy and American folk music. (KJRH)
  2. A Tulsa man fired shots at five Phoenix, Arizona police officers and injured four more on Feb. 11 after they responded to calls for a domestic situation. Police reported that Morris Jones, a known member of the Hoover Crips street gang, fired dozens of shots. They later found Jones and the mother of his one-month-old baby dead inside a Phoenix home. Officers are not sure if Jones was shot by police or took his own life. (News9)
