- Police and federal officials are investigating after a man was fatally shot at a Tulsa apartment complex on Sunday morning. When officers were called to a shooting at Vintage Apartments, they found a 23-year-old man lying on the ground outside of an apartment with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken by ambulance to St. John Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Police have interviewed a suspect but are still investigating, though the case will be turned over to the U.S. Attorney's Office. (Tulsa World)
- Tulsa firefighters rescued three pets from a house fire Saturday morning, and are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. They were called to a home with heavy smoke near Admiral and Harvard around 10 a.m. Fire crews said they found four animals inside the home and were able to save three. (News On 6)
- Family and friends gathered on Saturday to remember the life of Dena Dean on what would have been her 40th birthday. Dena was murdered in Tulsa when she was just 16 and no one has ever been arrested for the crime. In the 23 years since Dena was murdered, her family has held on to hope that her killer will be found.
