Here are the top 3 stories in Tulsa today:

  1. New bike lanes are being installed in downtown Tulsa and are expected to cause temporary lane closures. Work began this week to add lanes on 11th and 12th Streets. The project, which is an extension of the Route 66 bike route that connects to the River Parks trail, is expected to be completed next month. (News On 6)
  2. Crews are continuing work to improve the hiking and biking trails at Turkey Mountain. The improvement project is segmented into five phases and is designed to ensure the trails can be enjoyed by families and enthusiasts for years to come. Live updates about which trails are temporarily closed can be found on the River Parks Authority website. (News On 6)
  3. A local chef will appear on an upcoming episode of “Rat in the Kitchen.” Chef Candace Conley, who runs The Girl Can Cook! cooking studio and kitchen in Broken Arrow, will compete with five other chefs to determine which culinary mastermind among them is sabotaging the competition. The cooking game show airs on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on TBS. (Tulsa World)
