Here are the top 3 stories today in Tulsa:

  1. The Tulsa Ballet is teaming up with Canada’s National Ballet School to offer free dance classes. "Share Dance," the interactive eight-week class, is open to all ages and skill levels. Dancers interested in the weekly classes can register at either the Brookside or Broken Arrow Campus. (KRMG)
  2. A new half-acre garden is coming to the Tulsa Botanic Garden. The Liberty Garden, a gift from the Stanford family, will be built next to the Bumgarner Family Lotus Pool. The project is estimated to cost nearly $4 million and will break ground on Feb. 24. (KOKI FOX 23)
  3. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has approved funding for a bridge improvement project in Owasso totaling nearly $14 million. The Highway 169 bridges over 76th Street will be upgraded during the project, which is expected to substantially reduce rush-hour traffic. There is not yet a set completion date for the construction, which is expected to begin this spring. (News On 6)

  • The Oklahoma State Department of Education is offering a special grant to help classroom teachers get resources for their students through the national nonprofit, DonorsChoose.
