- Ascension St-John has announced plans to shut down its pediatric intensive care unit this spring. After the transition, the St-Francis Medical Center will be the only hospital with a pediatric ICU in Tulsa. The last day for the pediatric ICU at Ascension St-John is currently set for Apr. 30. (Public Radio Tulsa)
- Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum will visit Las Vegas to witness a technology being used by the city to help improve police officer response times. Bynum says the Real Time Information Center technology has helped drastically reduce crime in other cities and hopes it can be successfully implemented in Tulsa. The mayor will be joined by Police Chief Wendall Franklin and several Tulsa city councilors when he visits Nevada later this month. (News On 6)
- A silver alert has been issued for a Tulsa man who suffers from dementia. 75-year-old Steven Dowda was last seen on Feb. 8 around 3 p.m. in the area of North Harvard and East King Place wearing a black and gray Harley Davidson jacket. Anyone who has seen Dowda is asked to contact the Tulsa police immediately. (News On 6)
