Here are the top three stories today in Tulsa:
- A sewer project will begin today in Tulsa, according to city officials. The rehabilitation and replacement project is located between South Yale Avenue and South Sheridan Road. Commuters can expect some slowdowns, as traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction for the next three weeks. (Press Release Desk)
- Tulsa Community College’s Northeast Campus food pantry has been expanded. A donation from the Osteopathic Founders Foundation enabled TCC to expand the “Fuel Pantry,” which serves students in need with food, baby supplies, household appliances, and other necessities. A program coordinator of student life says he hopes to see expansion of other “Fuel Pantries” located at each of the other TCC campuses. (KOKI FOX 23 TULSA)
- Two people are in the hospital after a shooting Saturday evening, according to Tulsa police. The shooting took place near MLK Jr. Boulevard and East Apache Street at about 7 p.m. Authorities are still investigating the event, but the two men are in stable condition. (News On 6)
