Here are the top 3 stories in Tulsa today:
- Tulsa police are investigating a shooting that occurred near Yale Avenue and Pine Street early Friday morning. Officers at the scene deployed a K9 unit in an attempt to locate the suspect who fired shots into a home around 3 a.m. but were unsuccessful. Nobody was injured during the shooting. (News On 6)
- The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office and the Tulsa Police Community Engagement Unit are offering self-defense classes for women and girls. Women ages 12 and older are eligible to attend the classes, which will be held at the Centennial Center in Veterans Park. Classes begin Mar. 7. (KTUL)
- Tulsa Public Schools has extended its enrollment window for the upcoming school year to Feb. 16. The district is also holding its last Enrollment Expo today, Feb. 12, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Interested families can visit the Expo Hub at the Education Service Center to learn about the programs and resources offered by the district.
