Multnomah Falls Fall: Mother, Daughter Injured In 50-Foot Tumble

GRESHAM, OR — There were dramatic moments that ended with a giant sight of relief at Multnomah Falls on Sunday afternoon. A mom was hiking with her 2-year-old daughter when they took a bad tumble.

The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office says that the two fell about 50 feet but neither was seriously injured.

More than a dozen people saw the fall and rushed to their aid. One of those people is an emergency room doctor who was just out enjoying the day.

Once deputies got there they were able to take the two to the hospital.
