4 Arrested In Connection With Child Predator Sting In Lake Oswego
A child predator sting operation resulted in four arrests, police said.

HILLSBORO, OR — Four men were arrested in connection with a child predator sting operation Thursday in Lake Oswego, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said. Investigators said they believe there may be more victims.
Jerry Clingman, 39, of West Linn, Alvaro Lopez Gudiel, 48, of Aloha, Thomas Hoffmeister, 34, of Aloha and Andrew Grabhorn, 32, of Battle Ground, were each charged with luring a minor and first-degree online sexual corruption of a child, according to the sheriff's office.
Officers posed as children online, and the men arranged to meet and have sex with the children, the sheriff's office said.

Clinghorn and Gudiel were released on bail. Grabhorn, who is also charged with carrying a concealed firearm, and Hoffmeister, who had an outstanding warrant, were each being held on $2,000 bail Friday afternoon.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office said it worked with Lake Oswego police to carry out the operation.

Multiple people immediately ended conversations when they discovered that the person they were talking with was a "child," but the four men who were arrested did not end their conversations, according to the sheriff's office.
The office is encouraging parents to be aware of what websites their children are visiting and what apps they are using.
