Pedestrian Struck By Car And Killed Saturday In Clackamas County
The victim was a 67-year-old North Bend man. A 50-year-old Milwaukie woman has been charged with DUII and criminally negligent homicide.
CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR —A pedestrian from North Bend was killed Saturday night when he was struck by a vehicle in Clackamas County. The driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, according to the Oregon State Police.
James Barclay, 67, sustained fatal injuries in the collision on Highway 213 near SE Otty Road, police said.
Kendal Elizabeth Conley, 50, of Milwaukie, was arrested on charges of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII) and Criminally Negligent Homicide, the OSP said.

According to police, at about 10:23 p.m. OSP troopers and emergency personnel responded to a report of a fatal motor vehicle collision.
A preliminary investigation revealed Conley was driving a Dodge Caravan southbound on Highway 213 when the fatal collision occurred. Conley was uninjured, said state police, who closed a stretch of Highway 213 for three hours after the incident.

According to the OSP, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office CRAFT Team, American Medial Response, Clackamas Fire and the Clackamas County Medical Examiners Office all assisted at the scene.
