The Kelly Johnson Foundation and Starting Line Youth Sports Alliance 501(c)3 Pay It Forward Initiative

KJF is excited to announce its partnership with Starting Line Youth Sports Alliance, where we successfully raised ~$1,500 worth of products.

Portland, Oregon: The Kelly Johnson Foundation today announced a new partnership with Starting Line Youth Sports Alliance. We are partnering with Starting Line Youth Sports Alliance to donate new and gently used sports gear to kids around the Portland, Oregon area. We started our partnership with Starting Line Youth Sports Alliance in our Twisted Yoga Fundraiser on December 7th of this year. We were able to contribute two boxes of new Adidas water bottles (26 total) and football cleats (14 pairs total) — about $1500 worth of product — to Starting Line Youth Sports Alliance’s cause.

Bill Rehm, Vice President Executive Director of Starting Line Youth Sports Alliance, is enthusiastic about the partnership saying how “Starting Line Youth Sports Alliance is very open and interested to collaborate with the Kelly Johnson Foundation.” Kelly Johnson, Founder of the Kelly Johnson Foundation, expresses her enthusiasm “We envision our partnership will help us grow our community outreach and impact in Oregon!”

The benefits of this new partnership include:
· Repurposing sports equipment for youth to grow their passions.
· Giving back to our Portland, Oregon community.
· Expanding a love for sports by creating future athletes and leaders.
