Madison South Shooting Leaves One Man Dead, Portland Police Say

PORTLAND, OR — A man was shot and killed on Sunday night. Portland Police want to know who pulled the trigger and why.

Officers arrived by the intersection of Northeast 2nd Avenue and Milton Street Sunday night around 9:30 p.m.

Calls to 911 reported that shots had been fired.

The officers found a man in the street. He'd been shot.

Despite effort to save him, the man died.

Police have not yet released the name of the man who was killed.
