Portland man, 74, dies from injuries sustained in September TriMet bus crash (kgw.com) β€” A 74-year-old Portland man has died from injuries suffered when a TriMet bus hit him in Northeast Portland back on September 19, police announced this week. Investigators say his condition initially appeared non-life-threatening, and they’re now asking anyone who witnessed the crash near Northeast 16th and Sandy to contact PPB’s Traffic Investigations Unit.
