A Briar Bush Fundraiser, Meetings and Comic Book Day, This Week
Check out a few events happening this week around Abington.

The Abington Public Works and Code Enforcement committees will meet Monday, April 29 at the township building starting at 7:30 p.m.
The public works committee will discuss the installation of audible pedestrian signals at the corners of Susquehanna and Bradfield road; and Easton and Susquehanna road. Cost would be $10,800. See the agenda here.

On Thursday, May 2, from 6 to 8 p.m., Briar Bush Nature Center will hold its Spring to Celebrate fundraising event. Tickets are $40 per person or $75 for two tickets. Visit the Briar Bush Nature Center’s website to register.

Saturday, May 4 is Free Comic Book Day, in which many comic book stores give away certain comic books ... for free. Brave New Worlds 433 West Moreland Road , Willow Grove, is participating.
