A Briar Bush Fundraiser, Meetings and Comic Book Day, This Week

The Abington Public Works and Code Enforcement committees will meet Monday, April 29 at the township building starting at 7:30 p.m.

The public works committee will discuss the installation of audible pedestrian signals at the corners of Susquehanna and Bradfield road; and Easton and Susquehanna road. Cost would be $10,800. See the agenda here.

The code enforcement committee will discuss the final land development application of Abington School District for renovations to Memorial Field. See more details and the agenda here.

The Abington Public Safety and Public Affairs committees will meet Wednesday, May 1 starting at 7:30 p.m.

The public affairs committee will discuss a new consolidated 15-year lease with the Abington Art Center for Alverthorpe Manor. For more details and the agenda, click here.

On Thursday, May 2, from 6 to 8 p.m., Briar Bush Nature Center will hold its Spring to Celebrate fundraising event. Tickets are $40 per person or $75 for two tickets. Visit the Briar Bush Nature Center’s website to register.
