New Jenkintown School Board President Delivers Message

Carolyn Riley has served the Jenkintown school community in various roles for over 25 years.

JENKINTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Jenkintown School Board has a new president and vice president for 2026.

At its annual school board reorganization meeting on Dec. 1, Carolyn Riley was elected president and Nina Russakoff was named vice president.

"If you had told me 25 years ago when we moved to Jenkintown that I'd be writing as the school board president, I'd have said you were crazy," Riley said. "It's been an honor serving the district in so many volunteer positions over those 25 years, and I know this board remains committed to moving the district forward into the new year and beyond."
