JENKINTOWN, PA — The Abington Art Center has announced the lineup for its 2025 Summer Concert Series.

The free shows will span six Thursday nights — from June 26 to Aug. 7 — excluding July 3.

Audiences gather on the rolling hills behind Alverthorpe Manor, home of Abington Art Center, as the landscape transforms into a family-friendly mini festival complete with free live music, food trucks, family activities, as well as local beer, wine, and cocktail vendors.

Bands from across the tri-state region performing this year include: Lancaster's joyous 9-piece horn troupe, Big Boy Brass, the adventurous genre-bending Americana band Stella Ruze, America's Got Talent star Dylan Zangwill, the soul sounds of Ron & the Hip Tones — all of which are from Philadelphia —as well as emerging South Jersey rock band Fat Mezz, and The Voice's Olivia Rubini of Delaware.

Representing Montgomery County on stage is songwriter Caitlyn Deviney, jazz band leader Alex Bartlett, the students of the M3 (Modern Music Makers) program for the Abington School District, and Glenside's G-Force Quartet.

The festivities close with a double take on Pink Floyd's classic album "Dark Side of the Moon"
performed Side A versus Side B by two original artists.

Abington Art Center has partnered with Series Producer and Founder of Stage United, Joe Montone, for a fourth collaboration, which has expanded both the musical diversity and the message of this series as "a summer soundtrack of togetherness," year after year.

"The mission of Stage United is to inspire communities by not only creating greater access to unique live concerts like these," Montone said, "but also to demonstrate the power of collaboration. This series is presented by and for our backyard — it takes all of us to make this happen."

As Abington Art Center aims to raise $30k to bring this series to life, Stage United is there to amplify the cause.

The two entities welcome local arts patrons who are then celebrated through various sponsorship
offerings for their commitment to community enrichment. Sponsor support helps off-set the production costs associated with the series, making it an accessible space for everyone to enjoy powerful live performances.

On Wednesday, local business community members, Hiway Theater and The Dovetail rallied together for the concert series by co-presenting the 1980 classic movie, "The Blues Brothers."

The Hiway contributed over $500 to the Abington Art Center Summer Concert Series fundraising campaign through ticket proceeds.
