
The Abington Drumline made it to the finals in last weekend’s Tournament Indoor Association’s (TIA) All-Chapter Championship in Wildwood, N.J.
Out of 20 A-Class drumlines, Abington was 1 of 10 that made it to the finals. The Abington Drumline received a score of 88.8 at the finals competition on Saturday night, which netted an eighth-place finish.
Hatboro Horsham High School took first place in the A-Class drumline competition.

The drumline's theme was "forever," which sampled many songs containing the word. Check out a video sample from last week’s practice at the high school in the video section above.
The Abington Color Guard also competed in the preliminaries on Friday, and received its highest score of the season, but did not make the finals.

The championships, which are in their 41st year, were held in Convention Hall in Wildwood; more than 250 teams competed.
