Abington Man Arrested for Allegedly Carrying Gun Without License
The man also had a loaded magazine, police said.

Abington Police arrested a Roslyn man following a traffic stop after he was found to have a semi-automatic gun and a loaded clip in his shorts pocket, police said.
Alexander Young, 21, of Norwood Road, was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm without a license on May 15 following a traffic stop near the corner of Highland and Woodland avenues. According to police, Young was driving a gold Chevrolet S-10 and did not use a turn signal.

Young was driving with a suspended license, police said. Following a pat down, police recovered a black, semi-automatic Sig Sauer P250 in Young’s pocket, as well as a loaded magazine, which contained 15 9-mm rounds. Young does not have a permit to carry a concealed weapon, police said; he was taken into custody and arraigned.
