The Three New Members Of The Abington School Board Took The Oaths Of Office On Monday

ABINGTON, PA — The local school board swore in its newest members during its meeting Monday evening.

The Abington School Board welcomed its newest members — Leah Fesi, Angelique Frazier and Yaasiyn Muhammad — during its reorganization meeting this week.

The three newest school directors, who won election to their posts in November, took their oaths of office.

Meanwhile, the board on Monday also chose two of its members to serve as president and vice president respectively.

School Director Shameeka Browne was elected president and School Director Melissa Mowry was elected vice president of the body.

The next meeting of the Board of School Directors is scheduled for Dec. 14. This will be the first complete meeting with the new lineup of board members.
