Arts And Crafts Fair At Abington Art Center Sunday

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Abington Art Center will hold its AAC Spring Art & Fine Craft Fair on Sunday.

Organizers ask attendees to join them on the center's expansive lawn for a fun day of artwork, food, and more.

Artists from around the Philadelphia region will showcase their work in a range of media, including jewelry, ceramics, glass, textiles, painting, and photography. Enjoy handcrafted food and locally brewed beer & cocktails while exploring our 27-acre sculpture park.

The Art & Fine Craft fair highlights hand-crafted gifts and treasures made by local artisans. While many artists take credit cards, the center suggests that people bring cash.

There will also be "artrepreneurs" in the Kids' Corner tent. These young artists will impress with their work as they gain experience as vendors.

The event is free and open to the public. It takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Abington Art Center, 515 Meetinghouse Rd., in Jenkintown. (The rain date is April 13.)

There will be live music on the main stage from 1-4 p.m. and art demonstrations throughout the day.

Parking is across the street from Abington Art Center in the Triangle Parking Lot at the corner of Meetinghouse Road and Greenwood Avenue, courtesy of Abington Friends School.

Proceeds from donations received support the non-profit art center.
