Berthold R. Kramer, Science Teacher, Formerly of Rockledge

Kramer, a nature lover, was a member of the Sierra Club and the World Wildlife Fund.

 

Berthold R. Kramer of Cherry Hill, N.J., formerly of Rockledge and Philadelphia, died Sunday, May 5 at Cooper Medical Center. He was 71.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Berthold C. Kramer and the late Clara E. Kramer (nee Detky).

He is survived by three daughters, Nicholle Bertino, Claudette Colestock and Amanda Birney; a brother, Stephen; a sister, Andrea Fox; and his former wife, Diane Lentz.

He was a 1960 graduate of Lower Moreland High School, a graduate of Millersville University and received his master’s degree from Temple University. He was a science teacher, wrestling coach and basketball coach for Neshaminy School District.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 8 at 11 a.m. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge.
