Frank Ferrara, Served in the OSS, Formerly of Wyncote

Frank Ferrara, husband of Betty Ferrara, died Monday, May 20 following a sudden illness. He was 94.

Born in Altoona, he was the son of Walter and Rose Ferrara.

Ferrara served in the Office of Special Services during World War II and was stationed in Europe. Following the war, he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Textiles.

In addition to his wife of 72 years, he is survived by a daughter, Beryl.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 28 in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown. Donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 1224 Melrose Ave., Melrose Park.
