Free Admission to Morris Arboretum on Friday

Morris Arboretum is open to the public for free on Friday as part of National Public Gardens Day.

This Friday is National Public Gardens Day, a day to "raise awareness of America’s public gardens and their important role in promoting environmental stewardship and awareness, plant and water conservation, and education in communities nationwide," according to organization's website.

Locally, Morris Arboretum, located at 100 E Northwestern Ave. in Philadelphia, is participating, with free admission all day, and the first 500 visitors to the arborteum will receive a free seed packet.
