'Large Police Presence' Reported In Lynnewood Gardens

CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Cheltenham Township Police Department is urging residents to avoid the area around Lynnewood Gardens on Tuesday afternoon.

Cheltenham Police said there's a large police presence in the area of the 7600 block of William Way in Lynnewood Gardens.

Police said the situation is under control, but that residents and drivers should avoid the area at this time.

Police did not provide any information what the police activity was about.
