A Portion Of Limekiln Pike Will Be Closed This Weekend For AQUA Bridge Removal

Limekiln Pike is scheduled to be closed between Willow Grove Avenue and Mount Carmel Avenue from 3 p.m. Sat. to 8 a.m. Sunday.

ABINGTON, PA — A portion of busy Limekiln Pike is slated to be closed this weekend while crews remove an aging bridge structure.

The township announced that Limekiln Pike, which is also State Route 152, is expected to be closed between Willow Grove Avenue and Mount Carmel Avenue, with motorists being detoured over Mount Carmel Avenue and Easton Road.

The reason for the closure is the removal of the old AQUA water bridge.
