Meadowbrook Farm to Hold its Spring Fling
The event features shopping and new plant introductions.

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Meadowbrook Farm will celebrate the blooming season on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event will feature shopping, never-before-seen plants and demonstrations.
If you like what you saw at the 2013 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show, then stop by the sales yard to pick up gorgeous plant introductions featured in the show’s new plant showcase. Some of the flowers include petunia glamouflage – the must-have for any container; sunpatiens – remarkable sun-loving, heat-loving blooms; and petunia double surifina - available in stunning pink, rose, and white. The event will also feature Meadowbrook’s selection of spring blooming perennials, colorful annuals, spring veggies and herbs, and pollinator plants.

Spring Fling is also a spectacular day to get the kids outdoors. While parents enjoy the shopping scene, children can observe demos about bees and butterflies with the Briar Bush Nature Center, tree climbing exercises with Bartlett Tree Experts, scavenger hunts in the estate house, and the always popular face painting.
