Child Sex Abuse Images Prompt Charges Against Montco Man
Abington Police took the Upper Dublin Township man in custody Thursday for possessing multiple images of child sexual abuse material.

EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —An Upper Dublin Township man has been charged with possessing multiple images of child sexual abuse material, police said.
The Abington Township Police Department on Thursday charged Barry Sussmann of Maple Glen with multiple offenses Felony Sexual Abuse of Children (Possessing child sexual abuse material) and Criminal Use of Communication Facility.
Abington Police said they were contacted on March 20 by a private business about Sussmann, who had uploaded Child Sexual Abuse Material to their server.

Members of the Abington Township Police Department’s Special Victims Unit were contacted and investigated this allegation.
On Thursday, detectives contacted Sussmann at his home in the 1800 block of Carmel Place in the Maple Glen section of Upper Dublin Township.

Detectives interviewed Sussman, who admitted to transferring the image to the business and also for possessing multiple other images of child sexual abuse material.
Sussmann was taken into custody, and multiple electronic storage devices were taken from his home to be forensically examined, police said.
Sussmann was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Levine, who set bail at $100,000 with 10 percent.
As part of his bail conditions, Sussmann was ordered to have no unsupervised contact with minors and no internet usage. Sussmann made bail and was released.
The investigation is ongoing.
