ABINGTON, PA — Two Hollywood names reconnected Monday during the Academy Awards ceremony over some shared roots in this Montgomery County town.

Actor Bradley Cooper and screenwriter and journalist David Sirota met and talked about their days playing on the East Abington Little League together back in the mid-1980s.

A report on Channel 6 ABC Action News said that when the two reconnected Monday, it was the first time they had seen each other since elementary school.
