School Board Could Authorize Demo of Glenside-Weldon Tonight
The Abington School Board has been looking into the possibility of knocking down the former elementary school for months.
According to its draft agenda, the Abington School Board could authorize the demolition of the former Glenside-Weldon Elementary School at tonight’s meeting.
The school, located in the 400 block of Easton Road, was replaced by the relatively-new Copper Beech Elementary School, which is up the road.

The school board meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the district's administration building on Highland Avenue.
