Sci-Phi Film Festival Coming To Hiway Theater
The Jenkintown movie theater wil hold its annual science fiction festival at the end of March.

JENKINTOWN, PA —The Hiway Theater is holding its 3rd annual Sci-Phi Film Festival at the end of the month.
The theater's festival takes place March 28-30 and offers something for everyone who loves science fiction, from Godzilla to Star Trek to the classic comedy "Space Balls."
Day Two kicks off at 10 a.m. with the screening of "Godzilla Invasion of the Astro Monsters."

In this 1965 Kaiju film from the Shōwa era, aliens from Planet X strike a deal with Earth to provide a cure for all disease. In exchange, they ask to borrow Godzilla and Rodan to defeat the cataclysmic three-headed monster currently terrorizing Planet X – King Ghidorah.
Chock full of giant monster fights, handcrafted special effects from Eiji Tsuburaya, and a fun campy performance from Nick Adams, this sixth film in the iconic Toho franchise is a must-see on the big screen.

"We’ll be showing this monster classic dubbed in English so the littlest monster fans in your life can get in on the fun," the theater said.
