ABINGTON, PA - Abington officials are slated to discuss the future of the land that St. Basil’s Academy once occupied on Fox Chase Road.
The Board of Commissioners of Abington Township are set to meet on July 13 at 7:30 p.m. to hear a conditional use application requesting the installation of a central sewer line in conjunction with a proposal to redevelop the 30-acre shuttered property.
Applicant Toll Mid-Atlantic LP Company, Inc. is seeking to build 150 age-restricted single-family homes with associated improvements to the land, according to a hearing notice posted to the Abington Township website on June 28.

The meeting will take place at 1176 Old York Road in Abington in the second floor board room.
