Wawa Before the Board and Open Pools, This Week in Abington

Check out a few events happening this week in Abington.

 

The Old York Road Genealogical Society will meet Tuesday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at the Abington Library. The community organization promotes interest in genealogy and family history through lectures, discussions and workshops. Programs are free and open to the public.

The Abington Library will hold its “Wired Wednesdays” event at 2 p.m. in the community room. Get answers to your questions and learn how to download free eBooks from the library’s Overdrive catalog to your Nook, Kindle, iPad or other device.

The Abington Board of Commissioners will hold its meeting on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the township building. The board will consider the final land development plans for a proposed Wawa with gas pumps on Old York Road near Baeder Road.
