The project is expected to bring lane closures that may lead to traffic delays, officials said.
Anyone planning to travel during these times should seek an alternate route.
Traffic control is mandated by PennDOT, since it's a state road.
Kehoe Construction has contracted with the borough to provide a police presence during the work.
Once the paving operation has been completed, all thermoplastic striping and symbols will be restored as well as any traffic calming features that had previously existed, borough officials said.
