Patch took a look at the calendar and rounded up five things to do in the Keystone State, from Friday, Aug. 11 through Sunday, Aug. 13.

See Willie Nelson at the Outlaw Music Festival (Pittsburgh area)

Willie Nelson is having his 90th birthday celebration on the road this year, as he again headlines the Outlaw Music Festival. The tour makes a Pittsburgh stop Saturday at the Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown.

Appearing with Nelson will be John Fogerty, Flatland Cavalry, Kathleen Edwards and Particle Kid. Tickets are available for Saturday's festival, which begins at 4:30 p.m. (Read more on Patch.)

Support youth athletes at the 13th annual YMCA Kids' Triathlon (Bucks County/Hunterdon County, NJ)

The "ultimate endurance event" will see kids of all ages run, bike, and swim in this annual triathlon for young athletes. USA Triathlon is supporting the YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties, and all youth athletes competing in the YMCA Kids Tri with free USAT Youth memberships, according to the local Y.

The event is Sunday, Aug. 13 in Doylestown, from 7:30-11 a.m. Registration ends Saturday at 4 p.m. Age categories begin with "WeeBees" aged 3-5 (this category is sold out), and go up to adolescents aged 12-14. (Read more on Patch.)

Catch the last glow of the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival (Philadelphia)

The festival, which features 25,000 LED lights that make up 34 displays, is in its last weekend at Franklin Square. Not only is there a 100-foot sea dragon, but there are also pandas, flamingos and pretty much any animal you can imagine in the backdrop.

The last day for the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival is Sunday, and the event runs from 6-11 p.m. Tickets are between $22 and $25 for adults, with reduced pricing for youth, seniors, active military, and kids under 12. (Read more on Patch.)

Rev up summer at the New Hope Automobile Show (Bucks Co.)

The 67th annual event returns Saturday and Sunday on the grounds of the New Hope-Solebury High School. Gates open to the public each day at 9 a.m. with the show running until 4 p.m., and tickets may be purchased at the gate ($10 for those 12 and up; free admittance for active military personnel and their dependents).

Spectators will be treated to an entirely separate field of vehicles each day, with Saturday featuring domestic vehicles and Sunday featuring foreign vehicles – from vintage and classic to rods and tuner cars. (Read more on Patch).

Pick a spot to stargaze, as the Perseid meteor shower peaks this weekend in the Pennsylvania skies:

The Perseids are known as one of the best meteor shows of the year, featuring between 50-100 shooting stars an hour and possible fireballs. The meteor shower peaks Friday and Saturday. The Perseids are most active in the predawn hours, though it’s possible to see them as early as 10 p.m., according to NASA. For the best views, skywatchers should lie flat on their back under a dark sky free of city lights. (Read more on Patch.)
