Dazzling Displays Brighten Rainy Weekend At These Philly-Area Events
Are you in the holiday spirit yet? Here are some ideas to get December off to a bright start in southeast PA, even if it's gray outside.

PENNSYLVANIA — December is here, bringing with it a variety of holiday-themed events and displays in southeast Pennsylvania. Patch took a look at the calendar to find some festive events this weekend, while keeping the forecast in mind.
Some showers are possible in the Philadelphia area on Saturday evening, with cloudy skies and mild temperatures during the day. Periods of rain are also possible on Sunday, and it will also be cloudy. So, we found some events to bring a bit more cheer to this first weekend in December that won't involve dodging raindrops.

- Nov. 25 through Dec. 31. Show times are: Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Sundays at 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Holiday Garden Railway at Morris Arboretum and Gardens
- "Nighttime Express" on weekend evenings from Nov. 26 through Dec. 22; or during the day with general admission.

Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show
- Drive-through show open nightly Nov. 18 through Jan. 8
- Tickets: $30-$50 per car or $15-$23 for a wagon ride. Mini buses and limos priced higher.
