FDA Announces Immediate Recall of Popular Sandwiches

Sheehan Brothers Vending has issued a voluntary recall for its cheeseburgers and several of its other products because of undeclared sesame. For those with sesame allergies, eating these sandwiches could be a serious problem. The FDA classified this recall as a Class I health risk.

Amazon Recall Update as Fatal Warning Issued Nationwide

Nationwide recalls for a range of consumer products sold on Amazon and several third-party sellers were made after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) flagged risks of fatal injury, fire, and poisoning. About 1,400 units were recalled for violating mandatory standards for child safety gates. About 800 scooters were recalled due to risk of falls and injury from cracked welds. About 100 e-bikes were recalled after 13 reported ignitions linked to lithium-ion battery overheating. About 9,000 bottles were pulled for violating child-resistant packaging standards.

Jeep, Genisis, Winnebago Among Over 125,000 Vehicles Recalled: Check Car Recalls

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued recalls for over 120,000 Jeep vehicles and 4,754 Winnebago motorhomes from July 21 to July 27. Chrysler recalled certain 2023-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles as they may have second-row seat head restraints that do not lock in the upright position. Hyundai Motor America recalled certain Genesis 2023/2025 G90 and GV60 vehicles for a software error that may cause the instrument panel display to fail.
