The Keystone State's most expensive neighborhoods have typical home values over $1 million, according to data from Zillow.

PENNSYLVANIA — The Keystone State's most expensive neighborhoods have typical home values over $1 million, according to data from real estate marketplace Zillow.

In Pennsylvania, the average home value is $255,965 according to Zillow data. But home values vary from county to county, town to town – and ZIP code to ZIP code— with monthly Zillow data showing which neighborhoods have the highest price tags.

Patch looked at data from more than 1,400 Keystone State ZIP codes to determine the most expensive.

The top 10 most expensive neighborhoods in June were in the Philadelphia metro area — Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Bucks counties.

ZIP Code 19035, which is Gladwyne (Montgomery County), had the highest typical home value in the state at $1,398,104 according to Zillow data.

Two Delaware County communities, Villanova and Haverford, were also home to five-digit ZIP codes with seven-digit price tags.

These numbers reflect a weighted average of all homes in the middle of the market for a particular area, and are calculated with the Zillow Home Value Index.
