See PA's 250 Most Expensive ZIP Codes To Buy A House

Take a look at the latest real estate data, showing where the highest typical home values were in Pennsylvania in June.

PENNSYLVANIA — Buying a home in Pennsylvania is becoming more expensive, and the most recently-released data from Zillow shows the most expensive ZIP codes to buy a home in the Keystone State through the month of June.

Three of these ZIP codes had homes valued at more than $1 million, Zillow data shows. The average home value in Pennsylvania is $257,511, up 3.7 percent over the past year, Zillow added. The median number of days before a seller accepts a buyer’s offer is 7 days in Pennsylvania, per Zillow.

Data shows that 33 of the most expensive ZIP codes to live in around the Keystone State are located in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, with typical home prices ranging from $630,000 up to almost $1.4 million.

Zillow's raw data does not take into account that some ZIP codes cross municipal and county boundaries in Pennsylvania; in these cases, only one place name is listed.

These numbers reflect a weighted average of all homes in the middle of the market, and are calculated with the Zillow Home Value Index.

According to Zillow, the average United States home value is $348,126, up 1 percent over the past year, and homes go to pending in around 11 days.
