'Strong' Storm To Bring Snow, 60 MPH Winds To Eastern PA
Another round of snow is possible over the weekend in Eastern Pennsylvania. Here's the latest forecast and timing.

Another round of snow is possible over the weekend in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Forecasters say a "strong" storm system will bring widespread precipitation to the region starting Saturday and continuing through Sunday. Precipitation will begin as snow in much of the region, before transitioning to all rain by Saturday night.
As much as 4 inches of snow is possible in northern Bucks County and the Lehigh Valley, with as much as 2 inches falling in Philadelphia and nearby communities. There could be areas of freezing rain near and north of I-78, the National Weather Service said.

As far as the specifics on the timeline: snow could start as early as 10 a.m. and continue until a switchover to wintry mix in the late afternoon, the National Weather Service estimated in its most recent briefing. By 10 p.m., precipitation should be all rain.
There's expected to be "widespread rainfall" though Sunday of up to 2 inches, which could lead to localized minor flooding.

It will also become very windy Sunday, with gusts of up to 60 mph possible though Monday.
Looking into next week, AccuWeather forecasters say they're eyeing how atmospheric conditions will stack up for a storm. The storm, which is possible mid-week, will form as a press of Arctic air advances from the Plains to the Atlantic coast.
"A storm will be moving along and ahead of that Arctic boundary, and depending on its track and intensity, it can bring heavy snow from parts of the central Plains to the mid-Atlantic and New England," AccuWeather Senior Director of Forecast Operations Dan DePodwin said.
