These PA Towns Have Average Home Values Over $1M, Zillow Data Shows

PENNSYLVANIA — Three ZIP codes in southeast Pennsylvania have typical home values of over $1 million, according to the latest real estate data from Zillow.

In fact, data shows that three dozen of the most expensive ZIP codes to live in around the Keystone State are located in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties — with typical home values ranging from $618,706 up to almost $1.4 million.

The typical home value varies from state to state and ZIP code to ZIP code, with monthly Zillow data showing which five-digit neighborhoods have the largest price tags. Patch analyzed this data to find the Pennsylvania communities with the highest typical home values.

These numbers, which are calculated with the "Zillow Home Value Index," reflect a weighted average of all homes in the middle third of the market for a particular area.

The three Keystone State communities with typical home values over $1 million are in Gladwyne ($1.39 million), Villanova ($1.3 million), and Haverford (slightly over $1 million).

The most recent data available is through the month of June. Zillow typically publishes its ZHIV estimates for the previous month by the 15th of a new month.

Zillow's raw data does not take into account that some ZIP codes cross municipal and county boundaries in Pennsylvania; in these cases, only one place name is listed.
